Memory Bear Keepsake

These handmade memory bear keepsakes are crafted from your beloved clothing items. Whether it is a baby's first outfit, favourite baby outfits, a loved ones favourite shirt or any other special garment, I transform these items into a beautiful keepsake that you can cherish forever.
Each bear is unique and crafted with the utmost care and attention to detail as I understand the sentimental value these garments hold.

Birth weight bears can be made up to 10 lb / 4.5kg. If you desire a weight heavier than this, please get in touch and we can discuss options.
Bears sit approximately 30cm tall, and you can chose a stitched-in fabric nose or a button nose.

Personalisation can be added to both the right and left footpads using vinyl, with up to 3 lines of 12 characters on each - Names/Date of Birth/Time of Birth/Weight etc. Details for this can be added at the checkout after selecting the optional add on (make a note of which fonts you would like to use from the last image and add these to the details box at the checkout).

I will endeavour to include all the special parts of your items, however if you have a specific idea in mind, please include a note in your parcel when posting to me. I will do my best to make your ideas work. 

*All shipping costs include tracking and requires a signature on delivery.

Note: Memory Bear Keepsakes are NOT designed to be toys. They should be handled with care, especially the weighted bears which will need support when lifted. Keepsakes should be spot cleaned and dried as they are delicate.

Memory Bears are made using a purchased Funky Friends Factory pattern.

How it works:
1. Gather clothing items: 10-12 baby outfits (can be a range of onesies/tops/pants/blankets) or 2-4 adult sized shirts (can be more if you'd like more variety of patterns). Please avoid very loose knit items.

2. Pre-wash all clothing items prior to sending them to me. I will do my best to work around stains, but avoid sending items where this is likely not possible unless you are okay with them being used.

3. Purchase the bear you would like (standard or birthweight). Once payment is complete, you will receive an email confirmation with instructions for shipping the clothing items to me.

4. Pack your items in a protective bag (such as a ziploc bag to prevent water damage during transit) and post to me. Please include your name and order number in the package.

5. Once your items are received by me, I will begin creating your keepsake. Current turnaround time is up to 4 weeks.

6. Once your keepsake is complete, you will receive an email with tracking details along with a photo of your completed keepsake. Any unused clothing items will also be returned with the keepsake.

7. Place a review (if you would like to) and enjoy your keepsake!
